Lookin' in The Window, .....I'm Lookin at you!!

We now call her Molly. Ozzie seemed like a guy's name but I'm sure she'll answer to both. Molly (not sure of the spelling) means "small" in the language of India.

I learned this from an Indian lady a few years ago.Anyway, after a period of adjustment learning to trust our male English setter, Molly has become well accustomed to our other four house dogs (one each male and female English setters, a Canaan dog, and a cocker spaniel mix). We think she must have had some rough times with males in her previous life.

She is VERY loving and will sleep on our covered couch as long as she can. Molly is also a snuggler and will sleep contentedly near anyone willing.

We still keep her in her cage for overnight sleeping and she is perfectly content. With our four other dogs, some of whom sleep or jump up into the bed, we want to avoid any misunderstanding about territory.

We have been told she's a fence climber but have not experienced this. We walk her often on a leash but have also let her run in our fenced yard while we keep watch. We have a four-foot chain-link fence but have added extra loose metal fencing on top. It's two feet in some places and three feet where it's most tempting.

This was added before Molly as we've hosted climbers before. She's fed her special food to keep her free of her reactions to soy, corn, and wheat. Not that she's spoiled because she has so few teeth left (though she's still young), we soak her food a little in low sodium free-range chicken broth.Molly is a very sweet dog and a loving addition to any home.
